Learning beyond the classroom!🇺🇸 Our 7th & 8th-graders put their landscaping, math, and communication skills to work this week as they gave our historic Doughboy soldier and surrounding area some well-deserved TLC! 👏 Great teamwork, Terriers! We’re proud to see our students learning, serving, and taking pride in their school and community as they help prepare this special FES landmark for our 9/11 Remembrance and Centennial Celebration! #alwaysaterrier 🐾

💙 Sending a SPECIAL FES shout-out to everyone who helped make our 2nd Annual Back-to-School Picnic such a fun and memorable day! A BIG THANK YOU to our FES Board of Education, amazing teachers, dedicated custodians, Maschio’s, Ms. Hurley and her talented middle school artists, Frenchtown Police & DPW, Mrs. Lauer and the PTO, singer Lolly Hopwood, our incredible FES families, and everyone who stopped by to celebrate with us! We are so grateful for the wonderful community that makes FES such a special place to be. Here’s to another fantastic year, Terriers! #alwaysaterrier

☀️📚🐾 SUMMER SCHOLARS SPECTACULAR! 🐾📚☀️ What a wonderful way to celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of our FES students! Whether students completed their Summer Scholars work at home, in the park, or during sessions with Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Siock, Mrs. Mahon, and Ms. Wirasnik, we are incredibly proud of every student who made learning a part of their summer! And what better way to celebrate than by earning their way to the 2026 Summer Scholars Breakfast, hosted by Rebecca and the FES PTO! 💙 A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible FES teachers, parents, guardians, and student volunteers who supported this initiative and helped make Summer Scholars such a success. #alwaysaterrier🐾

🐾💙 The first week of school at FES was filled with smiles, excitement, and lots of Terrier spirit! 🐾 While we miss our precious Marley, who recently moved to Florida, we were thrilled to welcome a NEW TEAM OF THERAPY DOGS to FES this week! And here’s the best part… this team comes HIGHLY recommended by Marley himself! 🐶 Apparently, before heading south, Marley made sure to put in a good word for his new friends! 😂 A HUGE Terrier welcome to:

🐶 Alee & her handler, Bonnie
🐶 Hunter & his handler, Judy
🐶 Libby & her handler, Maria.

And WOW… the smiles were BIG TIME! Our students & staff loved meeting their new four-legged friends, and we can’t wait for all the joy, comfort, friendship, and tail wags they’ll bring throughout the school year! #alwaysaterrier 🐾
