✨ Collaboration in the Air! Members of the Frenchtown Elementary Team sat down with the inspiring ArtYard duo—Jill and Jessica—to dream up future collaborations for FES students this week! 💫We’re thrilled to be working hand-in-hand with ArtYard to create experiences that spark imagination, celebrate expression, and build bridges through the arts. Stay tuned… because the Art & Science collaborations upcoming for our students will be nothing short of amazing! #alwaysaterrier

🎓✨ Nothing like tradition! Our amazing 8th-grade graduates received a joyful send-off, ending their FES journey with one more lasting memory. Just before dismissal, students engaged in the traditional clap-out from our younger Terriers. Thank you, Class of 2025, for the beautiful mural you have gifted us, as your legacy will continue to inspire Terriers for years to come. 🐾💙 Though your time at FES ends, your impact will always be felt — because once a Terrier, always a Terrier! 😄 #alwaysaterrier

Happy Retirement, Mr. Moran! Mr. Moran was with the district for 27 years. During his time at FES, he taught a number of subjects, but mostly his passion for Technology and History, specifically sharing Current Events! For many years, he was the Frenchtown Education Association President and NJEA representative who was active at the county & state levels and attended sessions in Washington, DC annually. Throughout his tenure at FES, Mr. Moran was also a coach and leader of many after-school activities such as volleyball, basketball, and soccer clubs! Mr. Moran, you will be missed, and may your retirement be filled with happiness & new endeavors! #alwaysaterrier

🌞📚 Huge shoutout to all the amazing students who joined us for Summer Scholars Session #1! You’re taking charge of your learning & beating the summer slide one awesome day at a time. Way to go, Terriers! #alwaysaterrier

🎉 A BIG thank you to Morgan from Country Chic for your generous donation in support of visual arts at FES! Your kindness and community spirit mean the world to our students and staff. We’re so lucky to have small businesses like yours cheering us on! Also, another opportunity to show off the mural from the Class of 2025, too! :) #alwaysaterrier #CountryChic

📚 Summer Packets Were Sent Home!☀️
ALL students brought home grade-level summer packets designed to help prevent the "summer slide" and keep those hard-earned skills sharp! ✏️
📝 What You Need to Know:
📦 Packets include recommended summer assignments in reading, math, and more.
🏡 They can be completed at home OR with support during Summer Scholars (*Link calendar here) sessions with Mrs. Thompson.
⏰ Students can attend as many Summer Scholars sessions as they’d like, for all or just part of the time — it’s flexible!
✔️ The packet does not need to be completed in full. The goal is consistent practice throughout the summer to support ongoing learning.
🎉 ALL students who participate in Summer Scholars or work on their packets over the break will be celebrated both during Summer Scholars and when we return to school in the fall!
We can’t wait to see all the amazing summer learning happening in our school community!
📅 To sign up for Summer Scholars or if you have any questions, contact Mr. H, jhintenach@frenchtownschool.org, or Mrs. Thompson tthompson@frenchtownschool.org
See you soon!

Congrats, FES Class of 2025! The ceremony included numerous awards, an amazing musical performance ( guidance of Mrs. Ippolito) by class members, and inspirational speeches from graduate Amelia Rodriguez & past FES graduate Christian Bach! The night was supported by many families, friends, staff members, Adam Blackburn (Vice President of BOE), and Kate Yard (8th-grade coordinator). Additionally, FES was privileged to have several special guest presenters, including Jackie Campbell from the Frenchtown Library and Kathy Petro, who presented her Spirit Award! Thanks again to the 7th-grade parents for our refreshments! Wishing you the best of luck in high school, 2025 graduates! #alwaysaterrier

Community in Action! This past week, students from Del Val (Lila from SADD Club) and Frenchtown Elementary joined forces with our local police department & Ms Cruz (Brain Alliance) to participate in their Safety Blitz Campaign, and the results were nothing short of inspiring! Students got the amazing opportunity to create their personalized safety messages, which were proudly displayed on the digital sign for the whole community to see! A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated officers, FES families & brilliant students for showing how teamwork can truly make a difference. #alwaysaterrier

Teamwork in action, and smiles all around at FES! Students engaged in the Bike Rodeo and D&R Canal Trail Ride last week. A big THANK YOU to Ms. Nina from GoHunterdon, Mrs. Bontempo, and our amazing local police officers for stopping by and ensuring the day was fun, safe, and unforgettable for our students.
