FES would like to thank Mrs. Engelhardt for making a difference! Mrs. E is a dedicated support staff member at FES who truly wears many hats. Throughout the day, she travels between grade levels, providing valuable assistance and encouragement to students. She utIilizes a wide range of tools and strategies to help her students succeed & she does it all with a bright, welcoming smile. Her positive energy, kindness, and genuine care make her a beloved presence in every classroom she enters. Students truly enjoy having her support and appreciate the warmth she brings to their learning environment. Way to go, Mrs. E! #alwaysaterrier

🌟 Making a difference at FES! We are thrilled to celebrate Gwen Taffera, a Delaware Valley High School student who is already making a BIG impact in the world of education. Gwen is completing her high school practicum right here at Frenchtown Elementary School! Her enthusiasm, creativity, and the incredible tools she brings to support our learners have made a real impact on our students. With the guidance of Kristina Sterbenc, Mrs. Ahrens, and the FES Team, Gwen has jumped right into the classroom and is shining at every step! Keep up the amazing work, Gwen, and thank you for your efforts! #alwaysaterrier

A Turkey Bowl to Remember! Each year, our amazing local Police and Fire Department teams up with our 7th and 8th-grade students for the ultimate friendly, yet always fiercely competitive, flag football showdown. This year’s game brought nonstop energy from the opening kickoff to the final whistle, including Wyatt’s memorable coin toss, which set the tone for an unforgettable matchup! Game Highlights had the sidelines buzzing with electric plays from Robert on defense, Myles on offense, a “Beckham-like” catch from Director DeWire, scoring bursts from Atheras, Lugo, Coletta, and DeWire, clutch contributions from Hailey, Logan, Isaac, Cristiano, Ronin, Mr. Sklar, Mrs. Thompson, and Mr. Nohe, and a dramatic late-game interception by Mr. H to seal the Red Team victory! A tremendous THANK YOU again to our local officers and fire department for showing up for our students, not just today, but all year long. Your dedication, mentorship, and enthusiasm make this one of the most anticipated events for our students! Happy Thanksgiving from your FES family! #alwaysaterrier

Big thanks to Mrs. Rodriguez, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Ippolito, and all of our FES community for joining us! #alwaysaterrier

🎉 Terriers Rising to the Challenge! Even with the increased criteria to achieve honor roll, this year, our FES Terriers didn’t just meet the bar — they soared above it! 🐾 Congratulations to our 1st Marking Period Honor Roll & High Honor Roll Students and their teachers! We also celebrated our students who achieved “Exceeding Expectations” in state testing. It was wonderful to celebrate their hard work alongside Mayor Myhre, Michele Liebtag, and Board President Kate Nugent. We are so proud of our Terriers! #alwaysaterrier

Despite the chilly morning air, our FES Walking school bus kept on rolling this week. Thank you, FES staff, student council leaders & our local police, for supporting us along the way and keeping everyone safe! Great work, Terriers! #alwaysaterrier #gohunterdon #WalkingSchoolBus

Our school and community proudly came together to recognize and honor all the very brave who have served — and those who continue to serve our great country. We were especially honored to welcome Commander Doerr from the American Legion, whose presence reminded us of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication that define our nation’s heroes. On this Veterans Day, we express our deepest gratitude to all veterans for their service, their strength, and their unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Thank you for your sacrifice and your example of true patriotism.
Be sure to take a minute to recognize these heroic individuals outside the main office the next time you’re at FES!
