Summer Scholars wrapped up an incredible third week with an exciting STEM team challenge, building the tallest towers using only marshmallows and toothpicks, while celebrating our student "experts" who demonstrated outstanding learning and teamwork! 🎉 Our teachers also continued providing personalized small-group support and one-on-one reteaching to ensure every Terrier grows with confidence and is ready for success. #alwaysaterrier

Summer Scholars is back at it this week after the holiday weekend, and our Terriers jumped right back into the fun! Students had a blast building their math fact fluency through movement-based activities while also taking time to slow down and share the joy of reading with some of our youngest Terriers. 🎓 One of our favorite FES traditions continued today as we celebrated the Class of 2026 with a heartfelt clap-out through the halls of Frenchtown Elementary School! Surrounded by cheers, smiles, high-fives, and the admiration of younger Terriers, our graduates took their final walk through the place they have called home for so many years. The ceremony featured numerous awards and inspiring words from Mayor Myhre, graduate Hailey Mahon, and FES alumnus Vinny Casagrande! We were also honored to recognize Ms. McCann, who is retiring this year after years of dedicated service to our students and school community. A special thank you to our guest presenters, Ms. Jackie Campbell from the Frenchtown Library & Kathy Petro, who proudly presented her annual Spirit Award. We are grateful to the many families, friends, staff members, and community supporters who helped make the evening so meaningful, and to our 7th-grade parents for providing refreshments. Terriers had an absolute blast at Field Day this week! From exciting games and friendly competition to lots of laughter and school spirit, it was a fantastic day for our students and staff. A HUGE thank you to Mr. Sklar, Mr. Doug, and our amazing teacher team for organizing such a fun-filled event for our students.
