🐾💙 The first week of school at FES was filled with smiles, excitement, and lots of Terrier spirit! 🐾 While we miss our precious Marley, who recently moved to Florida, we were thrilled to welcome a NEW TEAM OF THERAPY DOGS to FES this week! What a fantastic way to wrap up another outstanding Summer Scholars program! 🌟 Our dedicated scholars, outstanding high school and middle school volunteers, special visits from Marley and Atlas, and a sweet celebration with ice cream from our wonderful friends at Sandy's Scoops made for the perfect final day. We are incredibly grateful to Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Siock, Ms. Wirasnik, Mrs. Mahon, all of our middle school and high school volunteers, and of course, Marley for making this summer such a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience for our Terriers. The highlight of it all? 100% of our student survey respondents shared that they enjoyed participating in Summer Scholars—a true reflection of the dedication of our teaching team, volunteers, and commitment of our outstanding students. ✨ Our Summer Scholars continue to impress us with their hard work, determination, and enthusiasm as they tackle their grade-level learning packets with the support of our amazing teachers and student volunteers! 📚This week, we were excited to welcome children's author Gerald Roache, who shared his journey as a writer, offered insight into the writing process, and inspired our youngest Terriers to read, write, and dream big.
