On Monday, May 19th some of our graduating class of 2021 returned to FES to open their time capsule! The students created the time capsule in the cafeteria because that was their classroom when they returned to onsite instruction after COVID.
The students had a great trip down memory lane when they opened the letters to themselves and watched a video that Ms. Hurley had of them when they were in 6th grade.
They took a tour of the school and enjoyed fond memories of 'hijinx' in some of the classrooms.
Our current class of 2025 graduating students are busy writing letters to themselves and collecting memorabilia to put in the time capsule so that they can return in four years in enjoy the same experience.
