Frenchtown Elementary is a PreK-8 school that stresses high academic standards, character development, and integrated, multi-disciplinary teaching approaches. Through highly personalized curriculum and small class sizes, Frenchtown Elementary encourages students to achieve their highest academic potential and to become well-rounded citizens.
In 2000, Frenchtown voters approved a referendum to upgrade the 1925 FrenchtownElementary School building. The upgrade included renovations and classroom improvements, as well as an enhanced science lab, library/media center, computer lab, art and music rooms, improvements to the high school-grade auditorium and air conditioning throughout the building, which is nestled by the Delaware River in Frenchtown’s State Historic District.
